Krossbu (four peaks)

On the trip to Krossbu you climb the four mountain peaks Loftet, Veslfjelltinden, Hurrbreatinden and Veslebreatinden.

The trip takes approx. 7 hours one way and starts at Jotunheimen Fjellstue or in the parking lot at Øvre Halsatjønnen.

The first stage is 300 meters high and follows the ridge "Langranden" on the map. The trip continues inwards into a flat section for approx. 500 meters. From here, the steepest part of the trip starts. Then follow the ridge upwards to the right until you reach the first peak Loftet at 2170 meter above sea level. From here you climb Veslfjelltinden (2157 masl), Hurrbreatinden (2060 masl.)) and Veslebreatinden (2092 masl.) on the way to Krossbu.
